Spring Wedding Trends

Spring 2023 is just around the corner, and with it, there are new trends that will surely be seen on various wedding blogs, and at events you will be attending. Whether you’re looking for something to help your big day stand out or just want some inspiration for your 2023 nuptials, we’ve got everything you need right here!

Bold uses of colour

When it comes to wedding trends, the use of colour is at the top of our list. Colourful flowers, colourful table settings, colourful linens and even bridal party attire will all be popular this year! Colourful bridal dresses were seen everywhere in magazines, in bridal salons, and at celebrity weddings. The same goes for bridal party attire! We expect to see a wide range of colours in bridesmaid dresses, with less conformity and more individual style shining through to create a uniquely cohesive look.

Coloured wedding dresses

Coloured wedding dresses have been around for a long time, but they’re becoming more popular in spring 2023. Coloured wedding dresses are also a great way to add colour to your day, for instance, if you want an outdoor wedding but don’t want it to feel like an ordinary party or picnic, try wearing something bright and cheerful like yellow or pink instead of black or white. You’ll still look elegant but with added flair!

Vintage style engagement rings

Vintage-style engagement rings are a popular choice for couples who want something unique. We will see more unique styles, shapes, and stone types than we have in years past, with brides leaning towards a stone type other than diamond.

Embroidered veils

Embroidery is a popular choice for veils, especially in spring. You can choose to have your veil custom embroidered or purchase it already embroidered. The embroidery may be done in any colour and style you like; some people prefer more traditional styles, while others like the modern take on traditional designs.

Dramatic aisles

You want your guests to feel like they’re walking into a magical world when they enter the venue, and

dramatic aisles are one way to achieve that. You can also use them as part of your ceremony space or as a photo backdrop for pre-wedding photos.

Custom Dance Floors

Custom dance floors are a great way to get your wedding guests engaged in the party. They can be any shape and size and made from different materials such as wood, concrete or another type of solid material. We anticipate couples choosing different colour dance floors, stylized dance floors with monograms, and much more.

Outdoor celebrations

Outdoor receptions are becoming more and more popular. With outdoor weddings, you have the advantage of being able to take advantage of the weather. If it’s sunny and warm, you can have an outdoor reception in your backyard or at a park. If it’s raining or cold outside, then maybe an indoor venue would be better suited for your needs! Another advantage of having an outdoor wedding is that it gives people who aren’t able-bodied (such as wheelchair users) equal access to all areas where everyone else is hanging out during their special day.
